About Me

Salvete! My name is Emily Goetz, and I teach Latin to 11th grade students in Hartford, CT. I started learning Latin when I was in 12th grade, but have always been fascinated by the complex and sophisticated culture of the Romans. I pursued my interest in Latin language, literature, and culture at Vassar College, earning a degree in Latin with a minor in Greek in 1999. I am pursuing my Masters in Education at University of Saint Joseph, completing in 2014.
